RPG Scented Oils

I know ordering scents online is pretty risky, but I couldn't resist. So today on the chopping block are two of thinkgeek's RPG scented oils. They were on buy 2 get 20% off when I got them (I think they still are, FYI). I got Rogue and Fighter.

Let's start with Rogue. (People do good news before bad news, right?) I like rogue. It's rather strange, when it's still in the vial it's kind of 'meh', but when you put it on, it's like, 'cool' (and then, 'oh god! I'm suffocating!!'). I'm not really sure how to describe the scent, except 'good', but that's not particularly useful, huh? The site says it's 'Soft, well-worn black leather, hemp, and rosin', which is more useful than my description, I'm sure. The downside to this one is that it's one of the more expensive ones (Since it was on sale for me, it was $14.39). I will probably get more of this when (if) it every runs out. (Because it is so potent, you need very, very, little, and, as such, it will last a long time).

Next up is fighter. It smelled like the Rogue one when it was in the vial but... well, not when you wear it. According to the website, it's supposed to smell like "Leather, musk, blood, and steel". Now, I personally think that would smell great... But to me it smells like stale water and musk. I had put a tiny bit on, and I promptly wiped it off less than a minute later. Five minutes later, I used soap. It has incredible staying power, I'll give it that. Unfortunately, it made me nauseous. And dizzy. Ah well, you win some, you lose some. You may like it, but I personally did not. Just don't put it on and them get offended if we coincidentally meet in the street and I move away from you.

Both of these (probably all of them, actually) are very strong scents. I still haven't figured out a good way to dilute them... maybe mix a little with wax and make them solids?
